This album is about mistakes and beginnings, that is why there are so many mistakes throughout the 5 songs. Most of the tracks are all in one take, and many are the first take.

Originally started back in April as a break-up album, progress was slow and with the meeting of a new girlfriend the album turned into a beginnings album by the second track in August. Material was hard to come by and retrospectively looking back on experiences was proving hard to get inspiration from. For months the album sat as an 11 minute, 4 track, incomplete EP, but with the release of Kanye West's "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" inspiration fell in the form of "So Insane...". Kanye has been a big influence through the whole process and this is my cross between hip-hop and my usual post-rock style.

Released on my 21st birthday, I hope you enjoy my "Broken Still Heart".
